Product Spotlight: PING G430 Family

PING’s latest G430 family of drivers promises to make you a better golfer. But what exactly is it about these clubs that make them better than the competition or even PING’s other driver families such as the 410 or 425?

For one, it’s about shape. Specifically, the variable thickness of the forged face and the carefully designed transition from crown to sole. More deflection means more speed. Spin variation has also been reduced across the face of the driver. Mis-hits will produce more consistent power, with little variation in spin regardless of where ball strike occurs on the driver’s face.

Weight management is also a factor. According to PING, the 25-gram backweight (for MAX) can be moved to position the CG for delivering ±8 yards change between the Draw, Neutral and Fade settings.

Accuracy is also improved via a lightweight, 8-position hosel which enables adjustments for loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than std.) to further dial in your ball flight for the best results.

Throw in the fact that PING’s latest drivers are priced in line with more standard offerings from the competition, and it’s no wonder that the 430 family is the most in-demand club on the market.
